Return to the original intention PRIMO CHAIR
Primo means "first" and "original" in Italian. It is also the series of works launched by the German design genius Konstantin Grcic again at the 2017 Milan Furniture Fair in cooperation with the Italian solid wood furniture brand Mattiazzi : Primo single chair and Primo long table .
Primo Chair uses natural wood from the original production area, providing two types of solid wood panels, beech and oak. It is cut in a 1:1 square and spliced into solid wood to create a strong and tender texture that is consistent with its name. It does not deviate from the original intention of developing the chair itself. The curved backrest section provides perfect support for the back, adding comfort.
Primo Chair performs very well in terms of configuration. It is an ideal resting device whether in restaurants, public areas, workplaces or clinics. Each Primo Chair can be stacked, providing convenience for storage and making space more efficient. More flexible.
Mattiazzi's most fascinating craftsmanship comes from the understanding and application of solid wood materials. It insists on using traditional mortise and tenon technology to consolidate the joints of the chair and increase the load-bearing capacity of the chair; the backrest is treated with special glue, which is meticulous and ergonomic. It absorbs the user's pressure when riding, so there will be no discomfort even if you sit for a long time. In order to increase comfort and versatility, the Primo Chair has also been added with gold, black paint and leather cushion versions.
