As a new product for Neuland Industriedesign 2014, the design concept comes from the observation of nature and the life forms of deep-sea species. The back of the chair is inspired by the fins of sharks. The two fins are full of tension as a conceptual element. The connection between the frame and the base subverts the imagination of existing furniture, making it easy to enjoy creative life.

There are also a variety of other covering materials for personal preference, and many contrasting combinations of colors are provided. Together with the solid beech wood chair legs, it adds to the natural style.

The Sharky chair's creatively extended structure and seat design won it the 2015 Interior Design Innovation Award. The inspiration for the agility and strength of shark fins was transformed into the product's appearance.
