Hlín is a limited edition bronze sculpture designed by Icelandic sculptor Örn Porsteinsson . It is one of a series of bronze sculptures inspired by Norse mythology . Hlín is regarded as the patron goddess associated with Frigg , the mother god . The contrast between rounded biomorphic lines and strong angles evokes the majestic landscape of Iceland . H lín is a captivating and aesthetic piece , the sculpture itself rendered in a verve of deep green -blue patina. Gardeco's bronze sculptures are made using lost-wax casting . Hlín is a limited edition bronze sculpture , each numbered and signed.
Icelandic sculptor Örn Por steinsson is known for his large -scale works , which can be seen in many public spaces in Iceland . On the other hand , Örn also collaborated with Gard eco to launch a series of smaller sculptures named " Travel Series " . Örn Por steinsson initially sculpted from single - use materials , and then Gard eco transformed the work into ceramic and bronze sculptures . Porsteinsson is deeply inspired by Icelandic mythology , and each of his designs has the name of a Norse god.
