The minimalist design of the ITA flower vessel was designed by Marcelo Alvarenga and Susana Bastos. The two are a brother and sister, an architect and an artist respectively. Their works not only fully integrate their expertise, but also explore uniqueness, innovative features and expressive use of materials in rationality and functionality.
ITA flower vessels are inspired by the Tupi people, an indigenous people of Brazil. The designer refers to the traditional accessories of the Tupi people and uses wood and brass as flower vessel decorations. ITA means "stone" in English in the Tupi language.
ITA flower pots have a luxurious and neat appearance contrasted with eye-catching contour lines. They are made by artists with exquisite craftsmanship, giving them an elegant and outstanding temperament. The flower vessels are embellished with metal devices, supplemented by light beige, hazel and gray soapstone materials, and matched with Pampas grass , which can create a bohemian atmosphere and stand out in the urban space.
VASE ITA is made of milled soapstone. Soapstone comes in different colors such as light rice, bright blue and silver gray. It is a natural porous stone. It should be avoided to contain water or any other liquid.
