Konstantin Grcic, a German design talent with creative aesthetics of geometric shapes

1965-Present

A well-known German design talent, he graduated from the Design Department of the Royal College of Art in London. From 1980 to 1990, he collaborated with the well-known designer Jasper Morrison and SCP, the largest design furniture brand in London, to stimulate his creative potential and lay the foundation for his distinctive style in the future.

In 1991, he established a studio in Munich, Germany, and is active in various fields such as industrial design, exhibition design and architecture. The products he designs include furniture, lamps, watches, coffee machines, etc. The famous brands he has cooperated with include Vitra, Flos, Magis, Muji , Mattiazzi et al.

Grcic's works contain in-depth research on the history of art, design and architecture, combined with his high enthusiasm for technology and materials. The functions are always based on a human perspective, with precise design, high sensitivity and other characteristics, using geometric shapes and Known for its simple aesthetics with creative lines and angles. World-renowned museums, including MoMA in New York and Center Georges Pompidou in Paris, have even incorporated some of Grcic's works into their permanent collections. He has also won the Compasso d'Oro, Red Dot, and the Best Design of the Year at the 2016 Milan Design Show. Recognized by many awards such as division.
