KAMI , designed by Mario Ferrarini , is a multifunctional chair and stool with distinctive features. Inspired by the ancient art of origami, the product name comes from the Japanese word KAMI - meaning " paper", a pure and charming form that combines fantasy, functionality, femininity, durability and comfort. Using plywood as the raw material, the 3D model is realized with lines that softly echo the design. The middle opening is repeatedly folded and reflected during the injection molding process to become a comfortable handle, making its cradle-like contours more prominent. The stackable feature makes KAMI like a notebook that can be carried anywhere, accompanying us every day in a relaxing and creative way.
KAMI not only combines aesthetic appearance with functionality, but is also ergonomic, can be placed independently, is sturdy and durable, and has the beauty of artistic lines. It can be matched with various home or commercial spaces to create unique features.
