The Flindt courtyard column lamp is a new product in the Flindt series. It was developed by Christian Flindt, a designer/architect who won the Danish Design Award in 2019, in collaboration with Louis Poulsen. It is even suitable for outdoor use such as private parking lots, courtyards, gardens, etc. The use of space does not compromise the lighting quality and aesthetic design requirements at all.

The sculptural lamp body design of the Flindt column lamp series originated in 2011. It was originally designed for an exhibition held in the park adjacent to the Kunsthal Brænderigården, the predecessor of the Danish Art Museum Viborg Kunsthal. The original unique design received unanimous praise, and was subsequently developed by Louis Poulsen and Christian Flindt. The material, lighting and luminous efficiency were optimized and improved, and it was relaunched at the Lighting Architecture Exhibition in Frankfurt in 2014. The simple aesthetic appearance provides functional and comfortable lighting. During the day, it is an elegant and perfect partner for gardens, urban parks and outdoor spaces. At night, it transforms into an important lighting corner for creating light and shadow levels in outdoor spaces.

In 2021, Louis Poulsen streamlined and redesigned it and launched the Flindt Garden bollard. The simple installation method can be easily configured at fixed points outdoors to improve the lighting quality, while meeting the needs of commercial spaces and general home outdoor spaces. Flindt garden column lights can be flexibly expanded to a combination of 6 column lights, with each column light arranged in a row at an equal distance of 5 meters. With its flexible configuration and minimalist shape, the Flindt garden column light can be perfectly integrated into various urban outdoor garden spaces.

Flindt garden column lamp projects a wide-angle downward soft light. The asymmetrical carving design at the top is embedded in the light source, and the special curvature is used as a reflector to create a soft and comfortable light and shadow layer for outdoor spaces.
