The PH Artichoke pinecone chandelier was designed by Poul Henningsen in 1958 for the Langelinie Pavillonen restaurant in Copenhagen, Denmark, and is still hanging in the store today. The PH Artichoke pine cone chandelier is a world-renowned iconic design lamp.
The lampshade blades of the PH Artichoke pine cone chandelier have 12 layers, each with 6 leaves. Poul Heningsen used a "fence" as a metaphor, because the "fence" is like a protection to prevent curious neighbors from prying, and the PH Artichoke pine cone The chandelier has a total of 72 shade blades designed to shield the light source of the bulb in the center of the chandelier and create a zero-glare lighting effect.
The original design of the PH Artichoke pinecone chandelier used a light pink rose color on the inside of the blades to soften the reflected light after the bulb is illuminated. The PH Artichoke pine cone chandelier is assembled by hand, and each of the 72 blades is carefully inspected and installed. The blades are precision laser cut to ensure the perfect size and fit every time.
The 150th Anniversary Limited Edition of PH Artichoke Pine Cone Chandelier is made of PVD electroplated brass, which can reflect a beautiful lighting effect when turning the lights on and off. This is also the first time Louis Poulsen has used electroplated brass material in PH Artichoke Pine Cone Chandelier. .
Louis Poulsen's 150th anniversary commemorative PH Artichoke pinecone chandelier comes in two sizes, with diameters of 48 cm and 60 cm. Each model is limited to 300 pieces worldwide. The serial number 1-300 will be engraved on one of the white leaves of the lampshade. Serial numbers are randomly assigned upon shipment and cannot be assigned. The package includes a limited edition certificate, handwritten with the individual serial number of the commemorative model.
Consumers who purchase the 150th anniversary PH Artichoke pine cone chandelier will receive a Louis Poulsen 150th anniversary book – First House of Light. The book will be released by Phaidon in July 2024 , and the original factory will be in Information on how to obtain the books is included with the shipment.
