Created by Sam Hecht, chief designer of the British studio Industrial Facility, it is the third work in collaboration with Mattiazzi after the Branca and Raidce series. Tronco Chair is a window solid wood single chair with a neat shape as its visual image, giving it the characteristics of being light and easy to move. It can be used as a dining table chair, conference chair, or stackable chair. In addition, the specially designed connecting buckle can hold two tables together. Zhang's Tronco can be fastened side by side to create uniform rows and rows, or to create a spatial separation in a small public space. Starting from the combination of shapes, we explore multi-angle three-dimensional configurations, break away from the boxy table edge shape specifications, and achieve the perfect co-construction of tables and chairs.

The nearly geometric surface structure shows a unique strength and beauty. Under the outstanding wood craftsmanship, the imprint of the wood grain is naturally revealed along the texture. The chair body and seat surface are presented at changing angles under the thick solid wood foundation. Showing an enveloping image without sacrificing ride comfort.
