Patrick Norguet is a French designer who spans the fashion and furniture industries.

1969-

French designer Patrick Norguet, who became famous for the Rainbow Chair, has a close relationship with the fashion circle. He has collaborated with brands including Louis Poulsen, Lanvin, Christine Dior, etc. He has also branched out into the furniture industry, designing for Cappellini, Kristalia and Lapalma. merchandise, and some of his works are listed in the permanent collections of well-known museums such as New York's MoMA.

Patrick Norguet analyzes objects and designs from a realistic and vivid image perspective. He has been fond of sketching and painting since childhood. He entered the ESDI School in Paris to study industrial design to further develop his unique talent. He is passionate about communicating with manufacturers and exploring their expertise. His designs are often creative ideas that are tempered by the limitations of technology, economic effects, and user expectations. The inspiration for his works comes from the life around him rather than chasing trends. Patrick Norguet seeks works that can stand the test of time. For him, only by gathering the efforts of everyone can he create beautiful and timeless designs.
