Louis Poulsen and Fendi Casa will release exclusive co-branded products from the collaboration between the two parties at Milan Design Week 2023. This collaboration embodies the common concepts of craftsmanship, innovation and heritage, bringing together Danish design traditions and Italian concepts of design excellence, giving a modern interpretation to products launched nearly 100 years ago. This exclusive series consists of five Louis Poulsen representative products designed by lighting master Poul Henningsen , including PH 2/1 brass and glass table lamp , PH 3/2 brass and glass table lamp, PH Artichoke vintage brass chandelier , PH Artichoke glass Pendant lamp and PH 3½-2½ brass and glass standing lamp .
Starting from Poul Henningsen’s famous three-layer lampshade series in 1926, the Louis Poulsen | Fendi casa joint PH 3/2 brass glass table lamp lampshade adopts a four-layer mouth-blown glass technology that is quite challenging in terms of production capacity and technology – the outermost layer is Transparent, the second layer is yellow, the third layer is white, and the fourth layer is matte sandblasting, so that the color distribution of the lampshade is soft and even, reflecting a warm, soft and diffuse light source.
The lamp pole part is treated with matte coating, which can present a classic and timeless texture of antique brass (Aged Brass) with hairline fine lines. It also incorporates Fendi’s classic Pequin stripe pattern without a high-profile brand logo, giving it an elegant and luxurious look.
