1085 Edition is a seat made of natural leather, designed by Bartoli Design and produced in collaboration with Kristalia and Presot, the only century-old craft tannery in Italy that still uses traditional craftsmanship. With the shape of a traditional folding armchair, made of leather and deliberately aged in its natural state to create a unique effect, the 1085 Edition chair is a radical reduction of complexity.
The seat incorporates nautical expertise into the design. The back of the seat is designed like a sailboat tie rod to prevent the leather from loosening elastically over time. This design allows the 1085 leather to retain its elasticity even after a long period of use. can be in a relatively ideal state.
It is assembled from two pieces of leather and metal frame, and the back and seat are elegantly stitched together, giving a value of time experience and showing its natural characteristics. Made of natural leather sourced from the unique craftsmanship of the Presot tannery, combined with unique handcrafted processing, the 1085 Edition represents a significant challenge to time, elements that demonstrate the value of this chair and make it even stronger even years later.
