The Joaquim marble coffee table is a work designed by Italian/Brazilian designer Giorgio Bonaguro for Tacchini. It is inspired by the soft and soft Brazilian furniture style from 1940 to 1960, which was a fusion of modernist architectural masters such as Niemeyer, Vilanova Artigas and Bo Bardi.

With an aesthetic that blends lines and geometry, the Joaquim marble coffee table pays homage to Joaquim Tenreiro, one of the godfathers of modern tropical architectural design known for his simple style and elegant curves. In terms of craftsmanship, the design of the Joaquim series is based on the concept of recycling, upgrading and reuse of scrap materials, and thoroughly implements the principle of sustainable environmental and ecological protection, which is also the main feature of Brazilian creative style.

The Joaquim marble coffee table has a metal structure frame and the marble stone comes from Patagonia in Argentina and southern Chile.

In February 2020, the Joaquim series won the Wallpaper* Design Award for Best Flashback, which is undoubtedly the best recognition of the classic reproduction of the series.
