Event details
Patera is a Danish designer Ø A work launched by ivind Slaatto in collaboration with century-old lighting brand Louis Poulsen. His works are known for their simple and poetic style. Nature is Øivind's most important source of inspiration, and he also incorporates rationality, logic and coordination into his designs.
Patera's design is inspired by the "Fibonacci Sequence" and uses the biological spiral arc produced by the earth's rotation around the sun in nature to apply it to the design of the spherical lampshade. The Patera chandelier lampshade is hand-woven by combining dozens of highly malleable PVC cutting pieces into many diamond square frame lampshades. The light refraction at each angle is precisely calculated to evenly distribute the light source, adhering to Louis Poulsen's soft lighting art. The lampshade design of the luminous sphere reinterprets the stunning visual effect of traditional crystal lamps.
The Patera chandelier also has a Patera Oval oval lampshade, which can be selected in different sizes according to the size of the space, injecting softness into contemporary spaces with a bright light source full of visual changes. It is an elegant-looking atmosphere lamp that can inject soft light source into the space with zero glare.
