In 1926, Poul Henningsen designed the first PH lamp made of metal. The PH lamp with glass shade came out in 1927. The first PH table lamp was also released in the same year, and there were three types: 3/2, 4/3 and 5/3 . In various sizes, the PH desk lamp can extend the characteristics of light distribution over a wide range, creating a new era for desk lamps at the time. Design specifications.
PH 3/2 Brass The design of the desk lamp's 2022 limited edition lamp base and pole can be traced back to the 1927-30s , the push-rod switch design originated in 1927 , and the top layer of the lampshade adopts a 1933 design. Inheriting the distinctive and unique appearance of the PH 3/2 table lamp, it combines mouth-blown glass and brass materials to inject warm brass tones into contemporary interior environments.
The top brass shade is painted white on the inside to refract even, pleasing and direct downward light. The second and third layers of lampshades are made of mouth-blown glass, with a glossy surface on the surface and matte sandblasting on the inside, forming a soft and even light distribution.
Untreated brass lampshade and base show fine detail The spiral hairline pattern, the brass oxidizes over time to show the natural trajectory of the passage of time, and the signature of Master PH is printed on the inside of the top of the lamp pole.

When purchasing, please note that the brass surface of this lamp has not been treated with anti-oxidation, and the lamp will produce different oxidation conditions over time and climate conditions.
